This Privacy Policy explains what information is and is not collected when you use PaperzWiz (the "Site"). By using the Site you agree to this policy.

Personal information we collect

None. PaperzWiz collects zero personal user information. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not require your name, email address, school, or age to use the tools.

Your citations and essay outlines

The Site operates entirely client-side. Everything you type into the Citation Helper, the Essay Structure Wizard, or the contact form is processed inside your own web browser. It is never transmitted to us, and it is not stored in any database, on any server, or in any backup.

So you don't lose your work, your saved source list and your essay outline are kept in your browser's own local storage on the device you are using. That data belongs to you: it never leaves your device, we cannot read it, and it is not synced between devices. Clearing your browser data, or using the Clear my whole list and Start over buttons in the tools, deletes it permanently. Using a private or incognito window means nothing is kept once you close it.

Log files

Like most websites, PaperzWiz uses standard log files. Our hosting provider may automatically record information such as IP addresses, browser type, internet service provider, referring and exit pages, date and time stamps, and the number of clicks. This information is not linked to any personally identifiable information and is used for aggregated trend analysis, site administration, and diagnosing technical problems.

Cookies and web beacons

Cookies may be used to store information such as your visitor preferences and the pages you visited, in order to optimise your experience by customising the content shown to you based on your browser type and other information.

Third-party advertising and cookies

Third-party ad servers or ad networks use technologies such as cookies, JavaScript, and web beacons in the advertisements and links that appear on PaperzWiz. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. These technologies are used to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and to personalise the advertising content you see.

Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this Site. Google's use of the DoubleClick DART cookie enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visits to PaperzWiz and other sites on the internet. Children's privacy

Protecting children online is a priority. Because PaperzWiz collects no personal information, we do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children. If you believe your child provided this kind of information on the Site, please contact us immediately and we will do our best to promptly remove it.
